Dirk founded Kymati with the vision of establishing a radar powerhouse that designs, produces and markets high resolution radar for automotive, traffic monitoring, industrial safety and automation. The latest technical achievements enable cost effective new radar sensor generations that can precisely detect, measure and communicate simultaneously.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZATION:
Dirk holds an engineering degree from Munich University.

CAREER & DIFFERENTIATION:
Dirk has been coaching teams of radar specialists in design, specification and worldwide application of high frequency radar products for different frequency bands for more than 14 years. Based on his contacts to many automotive clients in Europe, he adds a wealth of expertise for automotive radar with up-to-date insights into European and US automotive key players’ strategies for ADAS and autonomous driving. With more than 25 years in Management Board and CEO positions of enterprises (stock listed and privately owned) with up to 3.500 employees, he has gained valuable experience serving customers in automotive and other industries worldwide.
Martin Glänzer

Martin is a senior electronics engineer in high frequency area. After spending 20+ years in key technology leader roles in Wireless Sensors and RF Systems area, he co-founded Kymati and joined the team as CTO.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZATION:
He holds an Applied Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science with many years of experience for mm-wave radar products in automotive and rail applications. He conducted researches on Wireless Sensors and RF Technology that he performed at Siemens. He is also a holder of many radar patents.

CAREER & DIFFERENTIATION;
Previously, he was with Siemens AG, Corporate Technology R&D, for over 14 years as project manager, key expert engineer and technical leader, where he started his professional career. Bringing deep experience in high frequency radar hardware and software development, such as design of modern user interfaces and skill set to handle raw data, he brings Kymati a valuable technical skill set. Combined with his creative and innovative engineering approach customer can profit from hands-on solutions..
Lode Theunynck

Lode is a customer-focused, highly experienced international sales and management executive who values professional accomplishments. During his 15+ years of international sales roles in the real-time location industry, he successfully assisted thousands of customers to optimize key operational processes. He joined Kymati because he strongly believes radar technology is at a breakthrough point where it can serve customer applications in a way, we could have never imagined years ago.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZATION:
Lode holds a law degree from University of Ghent and a specialization on public law with the University of Granada (Spain).

CAREER & DIFFERENTIATION:
He started his professional career at IBM solving customer data management issues with enterprise software solutions. Later in his career, he evolved into location sensor technologies enriched with software mainly serving heavy industries (Metals and Container Terminals). With his strategic and solution-oriented approach, he brings the differentiation in sales to customers and Kymati.
Michael Voith von Voithenberg

Michael is a senior manager with a strong electronics engineering background. After spending 20+ years in different engineering and management roles in various electronic industries he co-founded Kymati and joined the team as COO.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZATION:
He holds an applied science degree in electrical engineering, has a lot of experience with international RF product certification and a deep understanding of radar and GNSS/pseudolite technologies. He also has a strong expertise in wireless communication and image processing systems. Michael has successfully directed various technical projects and operational teams. Moreover, he personally developed or co-authored 7 patents.

CAREER & DIFFERENTIATION:
He started his professional life as Systems Engineer at Daimler Benz AeroSpace where he worked on image processing systems. Then he worked as technical / project manager for 6 years at Siemens in wireless communication. After that he moved to EADS/Airbus where he acquired and lead several large public funded projects. In his role as Head of Future Programs he was responsible for the definition and roll out of several new commercial Airbus Space Products. Michael is the inventor of the DeckFinder a radar-based landing system for UAVs and Helicopters, developed by Airbus. He brings Kymati not only more than 20 years of experience in radar business, but also the know-how and energy to streamline Kymati's operations to serve our customers.

Dirk is senior expert in real-time computer vision and sensor data fusion. After accumulating more than 20 years of experience in this area, he joined Kymati.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZATION:
He studied computer science at Technical University of Munich and holds a PhD in the same field. He has designed and implemented camera and radar based ADAS functions in automotive. Dirk also holds a background in assessing functional safety of perception and control systems in autonomous vehicle operation. He is co-author of a number of patents on ADAS and more than 20 published papers on autonomous cars and autonomous aircraft operation and landing.

CAREER & DIFFERENTIATION:
He started his professional career at BMW as a software engineer for computer vision, where he directed the team for perception of driving environment for several years. After a successful career at BMW, he worked for over 10 years at Airbus as an expert in Image Based Automation. To enable drone landing guidance, he focused on tight coupling of radio-based range measurements into visual perception systems and modeling of helipad and drone configurations for simulation and test. He also led a government funded project for safety of traffic infrastructures. With his experience in sensor data fusion of camera, radar, lidar and odometry for automotive and aircraft operation, he brings crucial technical knowhow to the Kymati team.
